The story is inspired by the youth of Angela Yvonne Davis as it can be read in her autobiography.
The eyes of this young girl reveal colorful portraits: her grandmother, her friend Margaret, her sister Fania, her parents...
In each of these encounters, we sense the future destiny of this woman who, a few years later, will be unjustly accused of murder, kidnapping and conspiracy during a racist and anticommunist trial.

For soloists, 3-part mixed choir, narrator, piano and drums (SAB).

The performance as conceived by the composer lasts about 65 minutes.
