This book was created in partnership with the Presses Universitaires de Lyon. It was written by teachers and students of the Centre d’Études et de Recherches sur la Musique, musical IT and medias of the University Lumière Lyon 2 and published with Daniel Paquette. A great section of the book is about Lyon’s history; a baroque and classical musics crossroads. Baroque music is the greatest section of the book. The last part deals with two great songwriters of the 18th century: Jean-Philippe Rameau and Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
