Jacques Brel composed the famous song “Bruxelles” (pronounce it “Brucelles”, with a first stressed syllable) in 1962, working together with Gérard Jouann he met in 1957, who has accompanied him to the piano since 1958. This arrangement tries to keep the dancing and dynamic side of the song. Patrick Rutgé was born in 1961. He teaches singing, is a choirmaster in Haute-Savoie but also singer in Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne which was directed by Michel Corboz for several years. He also has a Strasbourg’s University’s degree in sound directing. He was supervised by François-Bernard Mâche. He has a great music experience to work on his compositions’ sound.
