This is a spiritual song depicting a fisherman worrying as death approaches. This sheet music should be performed with measured enthusiasm and speed. Jean Jourdan was born in 1936; he was a musical education teacher and taught among other subjects keyboard, theory, harmony and singing in music schools of Gard. He conducted adult, teenager and children choirs. He was an author, composer and arranger and some of his compositions won “Musique pour les Jeunes en Hainaut.”
