Choeurs d'opérettes Françaises vol 1
This first “Choeurs d’opérettes françaises” collection is composed of famous and little-known works. The 15 songs are short, playful, comic and light. Love and food were recurrent themes at that time. Choirs were selected for their musical quality but also for being performed by choirs of all levels. This anthology is a way of discovering those famous vocal musics of the second half of the 19th century and of the beginning of the 20th century, which was the operettas’ golden age.
