André Caplet is a little known composer from Le Havre. However, his music is amazing and deserves to be listened to, played and published.
“Été” was composed in 1899 for choirs and orchestras. It was first published by Lemoine, but not anymore. This is a brand-new version arranged by Caen’s Conservatory professor Gilles Treille for a piano four hands.
It was composed for À Coeur Joie general meeting on April 1, 2017 in Le Havre by the vocal ensembles Impressions and Renaissance and the choir Arioso.
