Charles Aznavour was a French and Armenian musician born in Paris in 1924. His father was a talented baritone who used to sing for customers of the family restaurant. Since he was young, Charles was immersed in musical sphere, and at the end of the Second World War, he decided he wanted to be a singer. He did his first successful songs in the mid-1950, but he reached the top when he was 36, in 1960.

Jean Jourdan was born in 1936; he was a musical education teacher and taught among other subjects keyboard, theory, harmony and singing in music schools of Gard.
