Flashs Dingues, suite of musical sketches written by Éric Noyer for youth choir with 1 or 2 voices, with piano, drums and narrator (double bass ad libitum):

"Flashs dingues" proposes a trip around the world with, at each stop, a short story sung in a different musical style.
These adventures pass by Rio, China, Hollywood, Russia and even Paradise, before ending under a big top.
Possible staging (16 pages for ideas on staging and on the preliminary work to do with the children).
The few passages with 2 voices are easy.

Suite of musical sketches written by Eric Noyer who tells us :

Flashs dingues is a work:
- to play to travel between the styles, to pass from China to Rio, while respecting as well as possible each musical climate;
- to play characters, to mold oneself into all the different emotions at play in each scene, to accompany the words with the minimum gesture necessary for the right expression, to find the grimace that accompanies the text and changes the sound of the voice, to feel the intention that is at the base of the scene;
- to play with one's voice, especially in the search for different timbres (e.g.: end of the Chinese canon) but also in the pitches, to take advantage of the free passages to push one's voice to the extremes (e.g.: in the final "yeah", one can push small cries like African "youyous" or make large, rapid glissandos, or...);
- to play with words. I have often chosen a word as much for its sound as for its meaning, and the possibilities of the choir to enhance the sounds of the text are incredible! With children, it is enough to show it as a game.

I tried to note all the places where it is really necessary to play with the text
