Lyrics translation :
Huachito-torito : Nice little bull
Chorus : Nice little bull in the stable.
1. Everyone offers gifts to the Newborn; as I'm poor and have nothing, I offer him my little heart.
2. From the tree came the branch, from the branch came the flower; from the flower came Mary, and from Mary the Lord.

Notes for performance :
"Huachito" is a deformation of "Guachito", an Argentinian slang word meaning "son" or "little one". "Torito": little bull. The title plays on the "-ito" rhyme of the two words, referring to the newborn child resting in the stable (barnyard); the word "bull" is used to convey the idea of power.
