This motet is based on Psalm 19. It was written for the offertory of the third Sunday of Lent. This beautiful sheet music is intended to be sung unaccompanied with half notes. It was probably composed in 1708. The manuscript is kept in Accademia Filarmonica, Bologna. Alessandro Scarlatti wrote more than 600 cantatas and many motets for choirs.
