To be discovered urgently, LIGHT MASS by Vytautas Miškinis!
This mass by Vytautas Miškinis, written for mixed choir, two pianos (second piano ad libitum) and rhythm section, was commissioned by the International Federation for Choral Music within the framework of the 8th World Symposium held in Copenhagen in summer 2008.
About Vytautas Miškinis
Born on 5 June 1954 in Vilnius (Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic) is a Lithuanian composer and music teacher.
He studied and subsequently taught at the main Lithuanian Conservatory (Lietuvos muzikos ir teatro akademija, LMTA).
He has been conducting the children's choir Ąžuoliukas since 1979, and has also conducted other Lithuanian choirs.
He has composed several hundred works, including 14 masses, 150 motets and litanies and 350 secular songs, mainly for children's choir.
