To discover urgently, Missa Kumbaya, gospel/Jazz mass of Patrick Huber:
For this very original mass, unique in France, Patrick Huber used the Latin text for the Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus and Agnus Dei.
The Kyrie is a slow movement, Gloria a more jazz style, the Sanctus is a bossa nova and the Agnus Dei a slow movement for choir + guitar or saxophone solo (ad libitum).
The name of the mass comes from the two arrangements of the Kumbayah song: for the offertory it is a soprano solo with choir intervention and for the sending it is two variations on the spiritual theme.
