“Panis Angelicus” is César Franck’s most famous, played and arranged sheet music. He composed two other hymns: “O salutaris hostia” and “Tantum ergo.” “Panis Angelicus” is an extract from the Messe solennelle for three voices composed in 1860. César Franck arranged it in 1872 for tenors, organs, cellos and harps. This is a version for soloist tenors, standard mixed choirs and organs.
