This is a Romanian liturgy with no difficulty. It can be performed by any choir. Ioan Popescu-Runcu was born on December 25, 1901, in Runcu, Dambovita. He studied at the conservatory of Bucharest from 1917 to 1922. He was the student of Alfonso Castaldi and Yonel Bratianu, and then of Panceva Vladigheros and Vassili Stoinov from 1924 to 1929 in Sofia. He also studied Slavic languages. He was a teacher at the University in Sofia. He also conducted choirs in Sofia and Bucharest. He composed many sacred and secular songs. He passed away in 1975.
