Germaine Poliakov (born Germaine Rousso on December 15th, 1918 in Istanbul), wife of the historian Léon Poliakov, is a French music teacher and Holocaust survivor. It is with all the strength of her convictions that she translated and annotated this sacred song in 4 mixed voices of the Hebrew tradition set to music by Lewandowski.Knight of the National Order of Merit, as a music teacher, she founded the Accord choir in 1960 in Massy in the Essonne region of France.
