This opus was premiered in 1980 in Vaison-la-Romaine (10th edition of the triennial Choralies festival). In this piece, Roger Calmel entrusts the choir with a dominant role, sometimes in dense but tonal polyphony, sometimes in great outbursts in unison or 2 voices, where ardor and exaltation prevail.
