| | |  This is a popular song from Dalmatia, which French translation is an accurate translation of the original comic song. This sheet music is really easy and can be sung anywhere anytime; you can sing it for a concert as well as meetings or recreations. Borivoje Simic was born on November 1, 1920 in Belgrade. He was a prolific composer in Yugoslavia; he composed several orchestral music, choral music, movie music and studied conducting and composing at University of Arts in Belgrade. He conducted several choirs as well as Choeur de Radio Belgrade, firstly as an assistant then all by himself. His compositions won many prizes. His style is based on folk and jazz elements. |

Changing measures are caused by the Latin text, because there are tonic accents in it which gives a great fluidity to musical phrase. You should have a great choral experience and a good level to perform it because the melody is quite difficult. Ivan Hrusovsky teaches Music in Bratislava, Slovakia, and composed many choral and instrumental works. His compositions won many prizes. |
