| |  This is a popular villancico from Andalusia without any difficulty. Key changes create beautiful contrasts and diversity. This sheet music can be performed by simple choirs or choir gatherings. Eduardo Cifre was born in Castelló de la Ribera, Valencia. He studied music at Valencia Conservatory in 1967 and received prizes for playing the piano, harmonizing, composing and conducting. He studied conducting in Boon, Germany with Volker Wangenheim, and then he undertook training with Sergio Celibidache and Igor Markewich, and had musical pedagogy lessons in Hungary. He conducted many worldwide orchestras, like the Ensemble Orchestral Universitaire de Valence, several orchestras in Mallorca, in Venezuela, in Salzburg, Portugal. |

He set it to music with a melody by Johann Sebastian Bach; it was such a risky bet. The composer arranged it for his choir Choeur Voyageur. They wan several prizes for Florilège Vocal de Tours, in 2009. |
