Jean GOLGEVIT has tried to be as faithful as possible to the rhythm and the sounds of this language with always the concern which is his that all the voices are singing. Max ROUQUETTE was born in 1908 in Argilliers, in the Hérault region of France and is considered as one of the greatest writers of Occitan expression and, beyond that, one of the major authors of the 20th century.
