This is a cantata for standard mixed choirs and brass quintets.
Roger Calmel chase three poets interested by nature, and each of them represents a part of this cantata. Paul Éluard wrote about awakening, Charles Péguy wrote about supernatural and Victor Hugo wrote about soul depth.
Links between episodes are made by brass quintets and the echo effects made by the double-choir are the representation of this rural symphony.
