Javier Busto is a doctor in medicine. He studied conducting with Erwin List. He conducted the Basque Country student choir Ederki in Valladolid from 1971 to 1976. And then, he created and conducted the Eskifaia choir in Hondarribia (1978-1994) and Kanta Cantemus Korua (1995-2007). He won Tours’ Florilège Vocal’s in May 2007. His choral works were published in Basque Country, in Germany, in the United States, in the United Kingdom, in Sweden and in France. As he is internationally renowned, he travels across the globe to judge composition and choral performance contests. He also travels as a choirmaster. |
