| |  “Over the Rainbow” also known as “Somewhere over the Rainbow” is the most famous title of the musical “The Wizard of Oz” sung by Judy Garland in the movie (1939) realized by Victor Fleming and produced by MGM. This song had firstly been composed by Harold Arlen for a musical (1903) by L. Frank Baum who was also the scriptwriter of Victor Fleming’s movie. In 2000, it had been named 20th century’s best song! The arrangement is not difficult, and each part is highlighted, performing the melody one after another. The piano part highlights choir parts which can be sung SMAB or SATB. This arrangement really sounds like American movies from that time; containing retardations and stick-slips. |

| | |  Freddy Lafont Mena arranged this frantic salsa. It is now intended for 4-part mixed voices with soprano, alto, tenor, and bass solos, and vocal percussions. The groove must be respected and reproduced. Neither choir nor public is indifferent to this swinging music which makes us feel Cuban and South American warmth. The lyrics express difficulties the people endure and how the frantic rhythm of salsa helps to overcome. |
