| | |  This is an arrangement of Dick Annegarn’s song in which the strong beat — originally played by the guitarist — is combined with a flexible phrasing melody. The groove is performed by male voices during verses. We suggest you to listen to the guitar played on the original song, this way you can reach a bounced phrasing instead of just scratching the surface. The chorus consists on male voices answering to female ones. Female voices sing the theme with a kind of bucolic text. Dick Annegarn is a many-sided singer; his particular voice gives you a sense of otherworldliness, he is a pure European-born, a libertarian citizen and an amazing Dutch guitarist. He has played alongside with Freddy Koella who has accompanied Bob Dylan and Willie Deville. |
