| | |  Richard Peter Maddox was born in Samoa in 1936, lived and studied business in Sydney. Then he decided to dedicate himself to music. He went to universities of London and Sydney, then was graduated PhD of musicology at UCLA. He taught music at UNE, Armidale, Australia. His compositions were published by Warner Chappell, Los Angeles, and by The Key Press, Perth, Australia. He arranged and composed for the several choirs and vocal ensembles he conducts. He is also the manager of The Armidale School Chapel Choir. Three traditional Australian songs.
