| | |  Pasquale Amico learned music by playing the piano. He discovered choral singing in 1978 and was immediately seized by a passion for it. He studied it at the Milan Conservatory. He improved himself with Erzsébet Szonyi in Hungary. He was the winner of several choral singing competitions in Italy, and he recorded two albums with Cittŕ di Erba. He currently manages a choral singing center of training he created in 2002.

| | |  This score is intended for 5-part mixed voice choirs, one soprano or a soloist contralto, vocal and body percussion. This is a part of World Youth Choir repertoire. Freddy Lafont Mena is a young Cuban composer. He is a choirmaster, a singer and an arranger who lives in Barcelona. He created and conducted many vocal groups like Exaudi, Vocal Sampling, Five 4U (male quartet). He tried new aesthetics while being faithful to Cuban rhythms and so great musical culture. “Cuba Batumbata” is based on the onomatopoeia “Batumbata” and is perfect to create a party atmosphere or a processional appearance on stage.
