| |  This is a quite difficult work created by the Choeur de Chambre de Stockholm supervised by the Swedish choral conductor Éric Éricson, a fundamental of international choral singing. David Lampel was born in Stockholm in 1959. He studied at Genève’s musical conservatory, Switzerland, and at École Normale de Musique de Paris (he holds a degree in fugue, counterpoint, harmony and composition). He teaches notation and orchestration at several Conservatories in Paris and at CRD d’Evry. He wrote a textbook entitled “Manuel pratique d’harmonie,” published by Henry Lemoine editions in Paris in 2001. It became a background book for notation, and he sold more than 3,000 of them so far. He wrote a second textbook entitled “Les instruments et l’orchestre” in 2013. |
