Psalm 23 by Franz Schubert is a major romantic work for female choirs. This huge composer wrote many songs for mixed voice choirs and equal voice choirs. The atmosphere is peaceful and comforting as it is written in a smooth style, there is balance between voices with two sopranos and two altos, and the flat major is soothing.

| | |  This short work inspired by minimalism and repetitionis composed after short melodic themes from hebrew traditionnal praise songs. “Qadosh” is “saint” in hebrew. Adonaï, Elohim and Sabaoth are three of the names of god written in the Torah.
