Il pleut des voix de femmesThis score won the third Prize of the Composition Competition at the Florilège Vocal de Tours festival in 1995. The composer got musically on with the way of Apollinaire wrote his “Calligrammes”. By choosing “Il pleut…” which is the last poem of “Ondes”, Massimo Graziato followed Apollinaire’s process with reference to “ondes de la radio”. He was the first one to poetically understand that a cultural revolution was involved in the emergence of new means of reproduction and transmission (including registrations of any kind). However, Mr Graziato is a composer born in 1967 in Milano. He graduated un electronic music composition at the Conservatoire “G Verdi” of Milano. Thus, we understand his affection to the “Calligrammes”. Mr Graziato turned to experimental composition and instrumentation on magnetic tape. As a composer, he already wrote some important works and won Prizes in composition. “Il pleut des voix de femmes” is for choirs with excellent vocal experience.
