This is an extract from Randal Kleiser’s movie “Grease” (1978) and one of the first John Travolta played, alongside Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Michael Tucci, etc. It’s a piano and 3-mixed-voice arrangement. Let’s go back in time — USA 50s. Danny and Sandy have to break up after a whole flirting summer; by chance they find each other in Rydell Highschool. But everything has changed for Danny reveals himself as a little bad boy hiding his feelings to his friends. He pretends he is not in love with Sandy whereas she still is. She’s all the more hurt than he wins the school dance competition with a beautiful female dancer. She joins a girl gang and becomes a little more self-confident and gets a brand-new style. Danny hangs out with her again as well as letting go his bad boy side. Happy end; our two lovers are together again.
