Salve Regina - Loget - SATB

This is one of the first sheet music Evann Loget-Raymond wrote. The soloists and the choir take turns to greet Virgin Mary. It is written in an ancient way with modes but also in a modern way because of the original new devices of writing. The melody represents the universal aspect of the prayer. Evann Loget-Raymond is a countertenor at the Académie Musicale Philippe Jaroussky. He studied at the Académie de Musique et d’Arts Sacrés de Sainte Anne d’Auray with Richard Quesnel who helped him with his compositions. He also studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, conducting with Marc Korovitch, and plainsong at the École de Grégorien de Paris supervised by Louis-Marie Vigne. He began to supervise the Vox 21 Project to lead artistic projects. The objective of Vox 21 project is to gather artists who want to bridge music and audience. He sang for the first time at La Seine Musicale in December 2017 invited by Philippe Jaroussky and Artaserse.
