The song “The Rose” was written by Amanda MacBroom in 1978 and Bette Midler made it famous thanks to the movie of the same name. There’s only one verse, repeated three times in an orchestral crescendo; the beautiful message conveyed is highlighted by the simplicity of the song which demands us to keep faith in love.
