“Les Tendres Souhaits” is based on a poem by Charles-Henri Ribouté; it evokes the purity of a passionate love. The origin of this melody remains unknown, even if it is sometimes attributed to Pergolesi. However, it was greatly used. This SATB arrangement keeps the romanticism of lyrics and melody, while being simple.
