This text is an adaptation of Baden Powell's bossa nova "Berimbau". The execution is of average difficulty, with the verses being sung entirely by men and mezzos. Only the sopranos take over on the chorus ("Donne moi ta main camarade"). Many artists have performed this song. The arrangement proposed by Pierre-Gérard Verny is presented here with trio accompaniment (piano, double bass, drums). However, it can also be performed with piano only.
