Jacobus Gallus was a huge Slovenian composer who traveled throughout Europe. He composed more than 500 songs in a short period of time. He composed songs for 24 voices and was the master of “cori spezzati.” “Duo seraphim” is one of the most successful dialogs between two choirs. The alternatim represents the two angels’ speech, and it ends with a lively way of expressing the glory of the Earth.
