This work won the 2nd prize in Tours’ Florilège vocal’s composition competition, in 1999. The text is based on a Middle Ages student song. Changing measures are caused by the Latin text, because there are tonic accents in it which gives a great fluidity to musical phrase. You should have a great choral experience and a good level to perform it because the melody is quite difficult. Ivan Hrusovsky teaches Music in Bratislava, Slovakia, and composed many choral and instrumental works. His compositions won many prizes.
