This song is intended for standard mixed choirs, children’s choir singing in unison and string orchestra.
It is based on a Max Allier’s poem and won the 2nd prize in a draw for the composition competition Chanson pour changer de siècle for “Création d’une oeuvre avec instruments” (creation of a sheet music with instruments) organized by the Fédération À Coeur Joie Pyrénées-Adour in 1998. This beautiful poem was set to music by Jacques Filleul with a simple choral and instrumental writing. It can be performed on a lone piano or accompanied on string instruments.
