He was born in Fribourg (Switzerland) in 1945 where he started music with de Pierre Kaelin, Michel Corboz, Jean Balissat, Eric Ericson. He regularly conducts the Chamber orchestra of Lausanne and the Romandy Orchestra. From 1989 to 1992, he conducted the professional choir of the Swiss-Italian Radio. His talents as a composer are renowned both in the sector of the folk music and in the virtuoso music of contemporary language.
