This is a cantata for mixed choirs, wood instruments and drums orchestras.
The poem is based on the 6th poem from the Odyssey.
The choir plays the characters surrounding Nausicaa (Athena, Odysseus, Alcinous and his blind wife, and the young women). The story is told by a soprano voice in “parlando.”
