Jean Golgevit writes arrangements for choirs of every level. He was born in 1937 and studied at Lycée La Fontaine then at École Normale Supérieure, Paris. He taught musical education then became a musical education advisor specialized in technique. He is also a musical learning instructor for adults about musical language and choirmaster’s behavior and trains new choirmasters. He is first and foremost known to be a choirmaster and a composer and arranger. He realized more than a hundred songs for 2-to-6 equal or mixed voices choirs. “Nuit et brouillard” (ref. ACJ 0101), “Ballade en novembre” (ref. ACJ 017) and “Les nomades” (ref. ACJ 918) are also arrangements from him.
