The idea of adapting Veljo Tormis' musics with a french text is born of a request made by Veljo Tormis to Loïc Pierre, during a exchange in 2002.
The aim is to give acces to all those exceptionnal polyphonic tunes.This work, eminently delicate led by Loïc Pierre and Pierre Gief, is conducted with millimeter precision. It is not a translation or an adaptation, but the French text, of great literary quality, also remains extremely faithful to the musicality of the original work. A work of goldsmith!
