Léo Delibes is mostly known by the twenty or so lyric works and six ballets he composed. The beautiful song “Sancta Maria mater Christi” was never published before. It was written for standard mixed choirs. This manuscript is kept by the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Léo Delibes ended it on February 5, 1888.
