Emmanuelle Pascal-Falala helped by Jacques Barbier did a great research work and thanks to her, we were able to publish for the first time this sheet music by André Caplet arranged for a piano four hands by Gilles Treille.
It was written on May 4, 1901, for the Prix de Rome. André Caplet began to write on May 18th and only stopped on June 17th and its cantata “Myrrha” won the Prix de Rome on June 30th. It was performed for the first time in Le Havre on April 1, 2017 conducted by Emmanuelle Pascal-Falala.
