Most of the songs in this thirteenth opus of the "ENCHANTEMENT" series are the result of collaboration between Dominic FARICIER and the children and teachers of the Classes à Horaires Aménagées Musique of the Saint-Etienne Conservatory.
The songs were conceived "to measure" for these children from CE1 to CM2 who regularly practice choral singing, and are classified by order of difficulty. The songs in the second part of the collection are suitable for children in the 6th and 5th grades.
In the tradition of the French melody or the German lied, the piano is not only functional but dialogues, comments, reacts to the line of singing.
Simplicity, joy and depth: this is the impression given by both the poems and their musical setting. This is something to delight young singers, pianists, choirmasters and listeners.
