Unfortunately! Operetta scores are often unusable in choral singing: too many people, extreme tessitura, fragmentation of the tableaux, sacrificed desks...
By taking care of the vocality and the musical interest for all, Emmanuel Robin realized these arrangements for 3 mixed voices of arias, choruses, sometimes whole scenes of 6 great operettas, in the joyful, romantic or hilarious tradition which made the rich hours of them.
With this new volume of the series " Oser... ", Éditions À Coeur Joie opens the way to the operetta repertoire, with a simple objective: to bring some of the great masterpieces of the operetta repertoire within the reach of all choirs.

About d’Emmanuel Robin :

Choir and orchestra conductor, singer, pianist, composer, poet, Emmanuel Robin studied at the C.R.R. of Lyon and the C.N.S.M.D. of Paris (class of Claude Baliff) and Lyon (class of Bernard Tétu).
Alongside a long period as a singer and conductor, particularly in contemporary music (Bernard Tétu soloist ensemble, Sonvs...), he taught choral singing and choral conducting in Besançon, then in Bourgoin-Jallieu. He has also developed his activity as a composer and poet.
Professor of choral singing and choral conducting at the C.N.S.M.D. of Lyon, of voice at the ENSATT, he is also the vocal coach of the T.N.P. of Villeurbanne and works with many artists and theatre and dance companies, linking body and voice.
He is currently directing the Voix de soie ensemble that he created, and building multi-faceted programs, seeking to link works and styles by marrying artistic modes of expression.
