Alberto Grau is the choirmaster of Schola Cantorum de Caracas, Venezuela, and his compositions won many prizes. He composed “¡Cantad coros del mundo!.” This hymn is intended for worldwide choirs. It seems to be easy to perform and easy to read, but you need in fact a careful groundwork for this harmonic recitative alternating between female and male voices to be performed. You’ll need to work on the tonic or intentional accents present in the text with required touches. That’s only this way that you could perform this sheet music with all the author’s intentions as well as color, life and conviction.
