Music for 1 to 3 parts for children or women voices and piano.

This work was awarded the 1st prize at the composition competition of Florilège Vocal de Tours in 1997.

This suite is sumptuous in its simplicity of writing - reserved for ensembles with good choral skills, except the 3rd chorus which is accessible to groups of all levels. The musical atmosphere is often conveyed by the piano throughout the suite.

Bernard LEFEVRE was born in 1962 and studied music in Aix-en-Provence (France), gold medal for violin and chamber music, as well as composition classes. He has been professor of violin and orchestra class at the Conservatoire Municipal de Narbonne. He has composed numerous works of chamber music and symphonic music, and in 1994 was awarded the François De Roubaix Prize for a composition for the World Festival of the Underwater Image in Antibes. In Narbonne, he conducts a choir and has sung in choirs since the age of 5. Triptyque pour une aimée was commissioned by the Narbonne Conservatoire and premiered by its choir. Other works for choir and various instrumental ensembles are part of his catalogue.
